Given that I work from home and am involved with an open-source technology project, I relate to a lot of what this article discusses. There are many people I’ve met in person only briefly, or never at all, but with whom I interact regularly and whom I consider good friends. Moving last year further pushed my relationships online as my family and formerly-IRL friends are now a continent away.
