I’ve no idea why really, but last night, I tapped through the different service levels in the Uber app on Android, and noticed an inconsistency.
The two earliest services, Black cars and SUVs, calmly state their unavailability, whereas the remaining services deliver this news in all caps, as if to SHOUT about it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it can be boiled down to each team just doing their own thing without talking to each other. 🙂
Neither that nor some legacy quirk of their API would surprise me.
